What’s up 2018?
Damn. Can’t believe its 2018 already. And I also can’t believe that I only posted once last 2017.
Time flies by so fast. Last year has been really challenging for me. A lot of shit storm has happened in my life. I can say that it is one of the lowest moments in my adulthood. Changes are inevitable apparently but I must press on forward alone.
January started really good as one of the side gigs I am handling is doing great. I’m really thankful for that. It also has its own shares of challenges as I oversaw some really important details in QA which resulted in wasted time, money and effort. I learned it the hard way.
On the career side of things, being a senior web developer brings also a lot of learning in the coding side of things. New techniques and platforms learned and also versioning tools which are really important in today’s industry. Debugging, DOM traversing and hacks to name a few. This part of my life is also going well. Grateful!
The social side of things has been good to me also this Q1 2018. I’ve gained some new friends. Actually they are my sister’s friends. Had lots of fun meeting them and finally after several months of sulking after the break-up, these women gave a smile to my face. I think most of them are responsible women actually which is an admirable trait given to their age. They are the type of girls that are so studious but also knows how to have fun. I’m looking forward in meeting them again in the future!
February. Valentines season. Since I’m single. I gave chocolates to my female officemates. I wish they liked them. They are really cool and kind, reason why they deserve it in the first place.
Aside from that, I noticed that I started to frequent Westgate in Alabang. Going home intoxicated has been my thing these past months. Wonder when will it stop?
As always, I think I will be posting way more frequent compared to the previous years. I have some time to spare now and probably will update the look and feel of this site in the process. Damn I miss WordPress.
